If you receive your log order in a crate as below it is most likely European imported timber. It is dried using gas or oil, which is not too environmentally friendly, with high transportation costs from a European Country i.e. Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia.  Many of your high street log sellers will utilise imported timber.
